Clydesdales at Deane Hill Food City

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be at the Deane Hill Food City store 3-6 p.m., this Wednesday December 5th. The team of eight Clydesdales, along with two handlers and their turn-of-the-century wagon, are one of just five traveling hitches in the country and have been used by Budweiser since 1933.

The Clydesdales stand approximately 6 feet tall and weigh up to 2,300 pounds! They consume 50 to 60 pounds of hay, 30 gallons of water and 20 to 30 quarts of feed daily. They also travel with expert groomers who spend up to five hours on each horse preparing for special appearances.

For more information about this event, contact us at Davis Newman Payne (865-688-3151). Don't miss it!
