Today Food City announced it is bringing back an iconic brand to its shelves. Kern's Bread is coming back and only at Food City.

The first Kern's bakery was founded in Knoxville in 1864(!) Over the years it gained enormous popularity thoroughout the southeast. Back by popular demand, Food City is now the exclusive provider of the new Kern's line - featuring white, whole wheat, honey wheat and lite wheat bread and buns.
