Ready to commit your friend?

As a part of the outstanding viral campaign for "The Dark Knight", a great new site has been created that allows you to commit your friends to Gotham City's Arkham Asylum. We have all been playing around with the site and I have to admit, its pretty cool.

House of Cards

Wow. This is one of the most creative concepts we've come across in a long time. The new Radiohead video for "House of Cards" was made using no cameras or lights!! Instead they used 3-D plotting technology. Here's a behind the scenes look at how they made it. Awesome!

When a marketing idea goes bad...

Its not often that we get to mix our love of sports with our blog, but this specific marketing case is starting to get some national attention. The Anaheim Ducks of the NHL announced recently that they had created a partnership with a minor league affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa and with the new partnership, the team would come out with a new logo and nickname. This week marked the unveiling of the new name and logo, so say hello to the new team, the Iowa Chops.

The Chops, who play in the AHL (for those of you who know baseball, the AHL would be the same level of play as a AAA team, so we are talking the highest level of minor league hockey) have now received a great deal of criticism around the hockey world as well as from locals in Des Moines as well.

Will the team name get changed? Time will tell, but right now, its looking like the Chops might get, well, chopped.

And while we're discussing the future of the Internet...

Internet fanboy and NBA owner extraordinaire Mark Cuban also just went all Nostradamus and chimed in on the future of the Internet on his blog. As always, what he says makes a ton of sense...and is sure to stir up a little controversy. What do you think?

The End of the Internet?

Evidently, the Internet as we know it will run out within 3 years.
I wonder if Al Gore saw this one coming?
