Here's the second television commercial we produced for The University of Tennessee Medical Center.

It illustrates how UT Medical Center has thousands of employees (3,000 to be exact) who each specialize in being a "heart specialist" when it comes to providing top quality, compassionate health care. Click here to view the spot.

"Wristband" Spot for University of Tennessee Medical Center

Those of you in the East Tennessee area may have just started seeing our new television campaign for one of our long-time clients, The University of Tennessee Medical Center.

If not, here's one of our two spots, entitled "Wristband." It captures the essence of UT Medical Center's approach of combining high-tech medicine with high-touch care. Click here for the link to the spot.

This spot was beautifully directed by Michael Underwood and shot on location at UT Medical Center earlier this year. It recently started popping up on YouTube, and can also be seen during the week on local television stations, especially during UT football games.

web-video for Dove on YouTube.

This is powerful, both in it's visual execution and the statement it makes about the American ideal of beauty. Advertising that tells young women to "be yourself" and embrace her individuality has been a growing trend for several years. The details and execution of this message really reinforces the message in a creative, memorable way which makes it seem more genuine than the majority of others following this approach. Something that caught our eye...

From time to time here on the DNP Blog, we'd like to share our thoughts on what's right--and wrong--in the advertising industry.

This week our undercover ad critic gives two big thumbs up to the new round of FedEx TV commercials.

These new high-definition ads continue the "Relax, It's FedEx" campaign and comically depict how a range of FedEx companies can help small businesses. Over this past weekend, while channel-surfing through a wealth of college football upsets (did we really see VANDY beat GEORGIA!?!) we saw this ad called "Map" for the first time and it had us laughing out loud.

Bravo!
