An American Revolution?

We just came across a great article in the latest issue of Wired that takes an interesting look at a recent Chevrolet campaign. The article, by Frank Rose, is an intriguing case study about customer-generated advertising. Notice the reaction, both good and bad, when Chevy asked web users to make their own video spots for the Tahoe. What do you think about this approach?
